Charity Pool Doubles Tournament

Throughout September and October, 32 members of Crown Gas & Power signed up to feature in the pool doubles tournament for our two chosen charities, Bury Hospice and Rochdale and District Mind. 

With a good mixture of skilful, and not so skilful, games and tactics – the teams advanced one by one through the rounds.

Leading to two hard fought, suspense filled semi-finals, the final was eventually set up between two of the best teams.

The final took place on Thursday 20^th October with many of the Crown Gas & Power team coming to support their chosen team.

Our well-deserved winners were John Ascroft, Lead Developer, and Simon Eastwood, Utility Connections Coordinator.

Thanks to all our participants, we have raised £165, which will be split equally between Rochdale and District Mind and Bury Hospice.
